What your teams can expect with the upgraded Cardata Mobile app

We’re very excited to launch our upgraded app experience to you and your drivers. We know you have questions about the upgraded app and what your teams need to do to have a smooth transition.

The good news? The new app is designed with our users in mind and will be more intuitive than ever before. We’ve been working on the updates for months and the result is an exciting new experience that will save you and your drivers time every trip! Here are the answers to some of your top questions we anticipate about the new app.

When is the redesigned app coming?

All users will gain access to the newly redesigned app on February 15th, 2023.

What do they have to do to set up their profiles?

Nothing. Their existing profiles, trips, addresses, preferences, vehicle information and insurance information will all be ported over to the updated app. In fact, if you have new users joining Cardata’s platform after the app launches, they’ll use the app instead of Cardata Cloud for onboarding all of their information - all in one place!

What are the key updates to the Cardata Mobile app?

There are many exciting new updates coming with the redesign, many of which came directly from your teams’ requests and feedback. The key features are:
- Easier trip toggle buttons for on and off
- More accurate mileage tracking and location sensors
- Automatic mileage capture for specific trips
- A one-tap personal or business classification option for trips - no more swiping!
- A better, more seamless user experience overall
- The result will be a best-in-industry experience for you and your team.

Where do they go if they have questions? Will there be training?

We will be setting up frequent training webinars of about 15-20 minutes each. 

Here is the training schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 7th to March 7th. Sessions will be at 12:30pm EST.

We encourage all of your users to sign up for one to get a quick tutorial on the new app and will send sign up details in an email to drivers. We’ll also have many resources available on, with articles and video how-tos answering the majority of questions they’ll have. And, of course, you can also reach out to us directly at with any questions.
